Another update

First off some more wrecking! I collected my hair when I cut my own bangs some time ago. Now I don't normally cut my own bangs because I am not that good at it, however when it gets too long and I have no time or money for the hairdresser, it just need to go XD

Today I planned an activity that did cost less then 5 euro's :) Nick and I went to the petting zoo by bus (4,40 to get there by bus). It was fun ^^ I love animals :) We brought our own drink and something to eat. And we bought 6 eggs for 0,90 cents. And I donated 1 euro there.

I read 2 more books in the meantime :) But I don't feel like writing about it so much. I also tried out a new recipe today :) Spinach, garlic and different kind of cheeses in dough. Loved it :) I need to post it to my cooking blog still.

Update on goals

First of all, I finished a book today! The flying Troutmans wouldnt normally be a book I would read, but it came to me through bookcrossing. It is a story about a broken family who goes on a roadtrip. Because of the light writing style with a dose of funny, this book manages to discuss some heavy subjects without taking itself too serious. I really liked this book. The ending was a bit weird though and left some open ends.

Further I did some more wrecking in my journal. I actually did the dinner page, with vanilla pudding and strawberry sauce. The page looks orange now but smells sweet XD



I also went swimming last weekend so that is my first out of 20 times ;) I now have a cold though :( I worked some more on other goals as well. Tried a new dish from the supermarket. Made bami with some kind of sauce with stir fried fresh biological veggies. I forgot to take pictures of that though.

One of my hardest goals; graduating has become impossible. I tried hard to work towards this goal by looking for alternative ways of graduate still. But school isnt willing to cooperate and since I can't graduate by the official rules, I cant graduate at all. It is a combination of my diagnosis and my health problems that caused that I can't take the normal route. But yeah it has severe consequences :( So I am quite depressed now.... I guess I need to switch this goal for something realistic later.... but yeah need to think what that might be... It is not that I didnt make it because I was lazy or unmotivated now... I just set a goal that was out of my reach apparently. Need to look for other possibilities now, but... my financial state will get worse now too.. so I have no idea if I can afford a new chance... probably not. I'm sorry.. I'm ranting on too much about this... because I can't think clearly now.. need to let it rest for a bit and then start anew looking for possibilities when things are more clear.

Wrecking and new products

I tried out these healthier chocolate crunch cookie sticks last weekend. I really liked them especially the one in the red package. I thought they were so good, i bought 2 more packages today ^^ So yeah this one was a success.




And finally some more wrecking from me ^^ I painted my hands with golden glitter paint and pressed them down, but it does look a bit orange on the photo. I also finally burned the page. It smelled XD The page burned really well, must be more careful next time XD

I also visited a place where I have never been before last wednesday. Went to meet up with a friend I met through twitter in Alkmaar. I did see some of the city center then heading to the toko to get some forgotten ingredients from the local toko and got lost doing so. Luckily my iPhone could give me the right directions and I did find it anyway :)

Finally! A wrecking post!

I did some wrecking a few days ago but had forgotten to take pictures of it. So here goes.



These are petals of tulips I had in my home. When they came of I put them in the journal and put a heavy book on top of it. A few days later they were very flat and I taped them on the page.



Not much to tell here ;) I just wrote whatever came to mind and decorated it a little. Nothing fancy here ;)



This page was a lot of fun! In the beginning it was easy, but since I did it all in English it became pretty hard. But when I filled one page I could think of so many words that I started on the next one. Even when I filled that one I could only think in four letter words for the rest of the evening XD



I never have any lint in my pockets so I found out. Probably since I dont wear jeans. So I collected this from the dryer instead. It is nasty stuff :S

Wrecking progress

Write with your non dominant hand would have been a better title for the page. I mean I always feel so discriminated by things like this. If I colored this page with my left hand, there would have been no challenge to it. I belong to minority with a lot of things so I am quite sesitive to situations like this. Like everybody writes with their right hand :S

Wrecking in bed

So since I am having ups and downs with these strange illness I am having, I spend a few hours in bed yesterday. But I have missed the wrecking so much that I took everything to bed with me. Hence this project 365 photo:



I worked some more on the lines pages ;) It still looks like being done by a 5 year old, but it helped me vent my frustrations ;)



Then I proceeded to the sticky things page, which I moderated to my wishes ;)

It has all kinds of elements from nature in it, connected by the sun :)

I love how you can still see the page beneath it ^^ Last I have hidden a secret message in the book!



It felt good to be able to do something again :) It also kept me distracted a bit, or else I can only think of the pain. I have a doctors appointment today which I am scared to death of :(

Finally, a wrecking update XD

I didnt have much energy the last couple of days, so the wrecking was set to the background. But when I was on the phone, I did doodle! I love doing this! I think I never did doodle on the back of an envelope before... more in my workbooks for school XD

Scrub this page!

I felt I had enough energy to do some wrecking. So I got my scrub out of the shower to give my journal a nice scrubbing!

Close up from my coconut scrub. I love the smell of coconut. And the scrub from the bodyshop is heaven for my skin! I'm not sure it will be this good for the book though!

This is the aftermath, poor journal. It smells nice though! And my fingertips are so soft now XD

Dance! (write one word over and over)

Worked some more in my journal and created one line. Of course just drawing one line is boring, so I colored the whole thing, making up fantasy creatures as I went.



With this one I am very pleased! I love dancing so my one word is dance. I made a background with light pastels first then moving on to the darker pastels to create the foreground. I wrote my words on top of it with vilts. I am also making this one my 365 picture for today, because I think this project deserves a place in that as well!

Color the sides

So I finally colored the sides of my journal!

I also glued in a magazine page. Well not a whole page, but I liked it better this way XD I'm actually quite pleased with this page.

Not much to tell about it really, I am not in a talkative mood today, I guess.

Wrecking update

Once again I got to experience the bitter-sweet taste of wrecking:

It was almost waterproof, only a few drips leaked out from the bottom XD But yuck! Again it tasted horrible to drink from it, even the water tasted bitter.

It was evening by the time my funnel was dry again to get taped back into the journal.

And another mouth experience, better get that over with XD It is surprisingly hard writing or drawing with a pen in your mouth. I can tell you that ;) I feel like a 2 year old again, looking at my attempts. That and muscle pain ;)

Wrecking progress

I really liked doing this page! It turned out so colorful, that you hardly even see the holes! On that side that is, on the other side they are very visible XD

Here you can see the holes of the other side XD I also did the draw fat and thin line page. I used crayons, pencils and vilts. I still find that page a bit boring XD I think I will be working on that page some more later ;)
