WOYWW: Just some snailmail

A while ago I came across a creative meme that is called What's On Your Workdesk Wednesday. It is all about showing what is going on on your workdesk and is hosted by Julia from Stamping Ground. I really like participating, because it is an easy way to show you what I have been working on, and it is fun to visit some other participants :)

This week I haven't been very creative. I only made some snailmail related things. I planned to sketch a few times but somehow that didn't work out this week. Hopefully next week will be better :) Still I love making snailmail as well, so all is good :)

This butterfly themed snailmail I made from the front cover of an old Flow. I used it with my butterfly letterset :)

The birdhouse envelope is another page from the Flow magazine. The card I made with things I had from my stash. Together with the bird stationery it made a nice set.

I also did some birds mailart envelopes this week. This time I used goache and stamps. I used the colors from week 2, from the color of summer. These colors I wouldn't normally pick myself. So it was fun working out of my comfort zone.
And something extra. I always decorate my livingroom door with some postcards. But it was June and I still had the x-mas cards up. Now I finally replaced them with all nice cards I got from January till now. I really should start working on my cards smashbook again. I only spend so much time on creative things, and I have to many things I want to do haha. I need to up my creative time, especially now that it is summer and school is out.

  9. I love your snail-mail envelopes. Unfortunately the Spanish post office doesn't, so I can't use them very often. All those lovely cards up on display too. SDo much better than filing them away. Thanks for your visit yesterday. Kate x #52
