Dreams of Joy by Lisa See
I already read three of those books and only need to read Dreams of Joy. All three books are around 500 pages too. So I have been reading a lot. Will I review them, probably. When? I don't know. I am just not motivated at all at this moment. I have a backlog of 9 books for review. And more will be piling up. Either way I either need a review-a-thon or write mini reviews of some sort. I don't know. But some of those reviews do have to be written because the books are part of challenges. For now all I can say is that I am not really happy with myself for sitting in this review slump.
I followed your updates through Goodreads and wow, you really sped through the Hunger Games series! :) Huge books too! Looking forward to reading your thoughts on Dreams of Joy. Lisa See has been on my to-read list for a while, but I haven't read any of her books yet.
ReplyDeleteAs for the review slump... it does get worse the bigger the back log gets :/ What about just jotting down a few thoughts on each of the books and then move on with the next? That way, you can always write something when the mood strikes again. You can't force a review writing session, is how I feel.
With the hunger games series it just drew me in! It was so interesting to read :)
