WOYWW: 3rd day of school and snail mail

A while ago I came across a creative meme that is called What's On Your Workdesk Wednesday. It is all about showing what is going on on your workdesk and is hosted by Julia from Stamping Ground. I really like participating, because it is an easy way to show you what I have been working on, and it is fun to visit some other participants :)

I worked on a huge (for me) painting this week and did some small things :) Nothing big, because I put must of my time in finishing the painting I started at school.

I get a lot of stamps and I always cut those from the envelope for creative use later. This is my first fully collaged stamp postcard. Before I used them for added decoration. I like this as well :)

This is the re-make for the ATC swap, because the previous one never arrived. I don't like to make the exact same thing twice, so I went with something totally different :) Hopefully it will arrive this time.

And here is my 50x60 painting. Theme is expressionism. I love expressionism, but the base we had to work from wasn't really my thing. We had to sketch 2 versions of a Rembrandt painting, and then capture an emotion we felt from the painting in our own painting. Well, I think I made it my own, but it was not my most fun project to work on. I am not unhappy with the final result though.

  2. I love your tangle in blue ATC with the sweet cat silhouette, and the movement you captured in the ocean's waves in your painting is wonderful. Blessings!

  4. What a brilliant use of your old stamps ... such a great idea! Thanks for popping by my blog this week ... I'm afraid I am a bit obsessed with making those poinsetta's and fear they may even end up on all my Christmas wrappings this year too! Love to you, Debbie #56 xXx
