WOYWW: A backlog

A while ago I came across a creative meme that is called What's On Your Workdesk Wednesday. It is all about showing what is going on on your workdesk and is hosted by Julia from Stamping Ground. I really like participating, because it is an easy way to show you what I have been working on, and it is fun to visit some other participants :)

These are actually this pictures I wanted to show last week. But it was one day before my departure to the convention I was organizing so I realised I wouldn't have any time to make visits to other blogs. Therefore I decided to just post it this week. Good thing too, because I wasn't able to do anything creative at all this week.

I bought this stamp on Etsy. But I haven't used it yet. I do hope I can do that this week :)

Every few months I make a new stash of envelopes for snail mail from magazine pages. I was almost out, so I spend some time making these :) It is very relaxing to make these and I think it is always handy to have a stash of them ready :)

I only did one page for the Summer Sketch course last week. I choose the assignment draw and repeat. Because I could work on it in small bits at the time. I made some progress pictures after I finished a phase.

And this was it for last week. I hope to get back to my creative ways this week. If only for a little while :) I have some ideas, and I have learned that I am fine doing little things in between. While the Summer Sketch class is officially over. I have unlimited access, so I will keep working on some more pages until school starts 3 weeks from now. Then I have to be creative on demand again. I can tell you, these pages are good to keep the creativity flowing without adding too much pressure. I must find time in between school work to do my own things :)

  1. I had snail mail from an arty friend who had used magazines to decorate the envelope and it was such a delight popping into my letter box.
Not like the usual brown boring bills! Your papers looks very attractive and will certainly make the recipient and postie smile :D
That stamp looks like you'll have fun too.
Love the design and it's great to see it evolve.
    Thanks for sharing
Enjoy WOYWW and thanks for popping over to my place. ;D

  8. Wow! You really get a sense of motion with your draw and repeat drawing once you add in some colors. Very nifty! I like the stamp of a stamp as well. Lots you can do with that.

  10. Hello, I am sending this to everyone. Im sorry I am not going to be able to get to all the desk and I have now lost my sheet of paper that I was writing them down on. I don't think my cat is going to make it through the night to even see the vet. She is old just like my dog so I guess they are going to get sick at the same time or so. I just going to copy and paste and sorry to every one that I didn't get to read.. I just cant do it right now. Thank you Roberta 40 and bright blessings to all.

  12. WOW…just WOW!!! Your pattern piece is amazing. So uniform and consistent. As someone who loves to "doodle" that is not as easy as that looks. I also love your handmade envies. I'd love to know how you make them. Though if it's one of your trade secrets, I understand!!! Hope you had a great weekend!!! (((HUGS)))
